We provide mobile physiotherapy services including, but not limited to:

  • Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
  • Sports injury rehabilitation
  • Post-operative rehabilitation
  • Chronic pain management
  • Postural assessment and correction
  • Exercise therapy and movement rehabilitation
  • Dry needling
  • Kinesiology and athletic taping

All services are delivered at your home or preferred location within our service area (Randburg and a 30 km radius).

3. Service Area

Our mobile physiotherapy services are available in Randburg and within a 30 km radius. Locations beyond this area may be considered on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional travel fees.

4. Appointments and Bookings

4.1 Booking

  • Appointments can be made online via our website booking system or by contacting us directly via phone or email.
  • All bookings are subject to availability.
  • By booking an appointment, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.

4.2 Confirmation

  • You will receive confirmation of your appointment via email.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure we have your correct contact details.

4.3 Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full appointment fee.
  • Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in termination of service.

4.4 Late Arrivals and No-Shows

  • If you are not available at the scheduled appointment time, the physiotherapist will attempt to contact you.
  • If contact cannot be made within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the appointment may be considered a no-show and charged accordingly.

5. Fees and Payment

5.1 Fees

  • Fees for services are displayed on our website or provided upon request.
  • Fees may vary based on the type and duration of treatment.

5.2 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made.
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, electronic transfer (EFT), card payment, or other methods as agreed.

5.3 Medical Aid and Insurance

  • We can provide invoices and necessary documentation for you to submit claims to your medical aid or insurance provider.
  • It is your responsibility to check your benefits and ensure coverage.
  • We do not guarantee reimbursement from your medical aid or insurance provider.
  • You remain liable for payment regardless of medical aid approval or reimbursement.

6. Medical and Health Information

6.1 Disclosure

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete medical history and health information.
  • Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the safety and effectiveness of treatment.

6.2 Confidentiality

All personal and health information is kept confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy and South African law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

6.3 Consent to Treatment

  • By receiving our services, you consent to physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
  • You have the right to refuse or withdraw consent at any time.

7. Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice

  • Venus Chilowa is a qualified and registered physiotherapist in South Africa.
  • All treatments are evidence-based and performed in accordance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Physiotherapy services are not a substitute for emergency medical care. In case of a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.

8. Liability and Disclaimer

8.1 No Guarantee of Results

  • While we strive to provide effective treatment, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results.
  • Individual responses to treatment vary.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Venus Chilowa Physiotherapist is not liable for:

  • Injury or complications arising from treatment, except in cases of proven negligence
  • Loss or damage to personal property during home visits
  • Delays or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies, traffic)

  • Following prescribed home exercise programs and treatment advice
